My services are based on each families individual needs and desires. We will work together to prepare and plan for the birth of your choice. As a birthing team, we will also prepare for the unexpected.
As your doula, I provide:
Emotional, and physical support
Comfort measures during labor and birth.
I will provide you with the information you need, in order to make an informed choice.
I provide you with consistency, – no shift changes.
My Services Include:
A free, no obligation, initial interview/consultation.
2 or more prenatal meetings
Personalized childbirth education
Help in preparing your birth plan
On call status, starting 2 weeks prior to your estimated due date (EDD) and remaining on call until after your birth.
24 hour availability, with back up support.
Continuous support during labor, birth, and immediately post partum
Belly casting, placenta prints and photographs may be available.
For a birth in Kelowna $500 I do work on a ‘ sliding fee ‘ scale.
For a birth in surrounding areas $650 to $800, depending on the time of year.

Labour and Birth:
On call three weeks prior to due date 24 hours a day
Telephone support until you are ready to be joined in labour
Facilitate good communications between you and hospital staff/caregivers
Assistance with initiation of first feed
Breastfeeding Counselling
My services include:
In-Home Breastfeeding Counselling and support.
This may include but not be limited to assistance with Breastfeeding Basics, Positioning, Latch-on and Baby’s suck, Fussy at Breast and Breast Refusal, Weight gain, starting solids, weaning, Expression and storage of breastmilk, Working and nursing, Newborn Jaundice, Prematurity, Health problems with baby or mother, breastfeedng multiples, relactation and induced lactation, pregnancy and tandem nursing, and sexuality, fertility, and contraception.
My fees include: $50.00 non-refundable retainer fee. Daytime hours: $20/hour with a minimum of 2 hours/day and a minimum of 5 hours service in total.
